LINCOLN HOUSE

The altitude is 1200m.

The city is Nova Lima, State of Minas Gerais – Brazil.

On clear days we can see the sea of mountains undulating up to 60km in the landscape.

The house is a tribute to this beautiful nature.

A square with a glass cube in the center, which plays with light, air, clouds and the distance.

The living spaces are articulated as in colonial houses, spacious, cozy.

Any point in the house participates in the movement of the whole.

We feel accompanied: there is no place for solitude.

The courses are full of surprises; the distant nature, the inner garden very close to the eye; the widths and heights vary along with the luminosity, the passages, the framing, the perspectives.

The arrival across the bridge over the water mirror proposes a ritual, a kind of purification of what we feel, what we see, what we are.

And the house welcomes us generously.
