HOUSE LAGOA SANTA
The proposal of the Lagoa Santa house was to take the external space as part of the architecture, an expanded field. The volume unfolds, casting lines, frames, frames around the space of the main block, giving architectural values to the uncovered and landscaped areas.
More than extensions – the architecture itself.
The large prismatic shape with its concave inflection generates dynamic shadow lines that vary the luminosity of the internal spaces, while at the same time distinguishing the bedroom area from the social area, signaling the accesses.
The transparencies controlled by the trellis are our alternatives to ensure the necessary interiority of the living environment and, also, allow wide-open doors to nature on festive days and spaciousness.
The solid settles on the terrain, taking over the topography. In the game of volumes and surfaces, the kitchen cone signals the place where a good table is prepared.
