Tiradentes Memorial in the city of Tiradentes: necessary gesture, legitimate feeling, natural idea.
The two volumes, polished planes, emerge as crystals coming out of the raw earth.
As Tiradentes would have wanted, the mineral rises vertically, the material of nationality, before being horizontalized, subdued.
Two blocks, two dimensions of spirit.
In the Tiradentes room, the memory lingers, which ponders and projects onto our feeling. The past and the future simultaneously. Interiority and essence.
The Auditorium is an instrument. It gathers, shares, processes, and externalizes. It makes visible the visible.
The image that remains is that of silence made of ideas and stone, staring into the distance and depth.
